I recently was asked to present at the Bridal Showcase on Sunday, January 28th, 2007 at the Highland Park Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois. I was one of four wedding consultants from The Association of Bridal Consultants that was asked to present. It was the 25th year anniversary of the conference and it was a wonderful couple days of education and entertainment. I recently attended the "Association of Bridal Consultants":http://bridalassn.com annual Business of Brides Conference in San Jose, California from November 13th - November 16th, 2005
Peggy Post of the "Emily Post Institute":http://emilypost.com was the keynote speaker at the event. She spoke about business etiquette and general wedding etiquette. I was excited to receive a copy of her new book “Wedding Etiquette” which is to hit new stands in February of 2006. The conference was the biggest conference in its twenty-four year history. There were 334 attendees from all areas of the United States and Japan. The conference included a trade show of wedding vendors, two off site parties, and seminars during the day. My attendance is part of my ongoing commitment to be a premier wedding consultant and to learn about the new trends hitting the wedding market.
